Web design in Dubai Festival City for a restaurant whose diners search from Marsa Plaza

From the Crowne Plaza to Marsa Plaza, the diner, the tenant and the hotel guest each find a page that answers their own search, on a Webflow site where SEO is included in the monthly fee.

A Dubai Festival City restaurant site built around the hotels, villas and mall its diners arrive from

Picture a Dubai Festival City restaurant with a table on the Festival Bay waterfront. The site is a homepage, a menu uploaded as a PDF and a booking form wired to an inbox nobody opens. Around it the mall counted 75 food and beverage outlets in the 2017 coverage of its remodel, and Market Island, billed as the largest licensed food hall in the Middle East, sits inside the building. A couple at the InterContinental, a family from the Al Badia villas and a group leaving the cinema each type a different phrase into Google, and nothing on that site answers any of them by name. Our version starts from the searches: for each thing the restaurant sells and each place its diners come from, one page, drafted once the monthly counts are in. No invoice exists until you sign. Billing is monthly from then on, and the amount stretches over hosting, edits, the rankings work and the SEO.

01

A Dubai Festival City coverage map drawn from the marine station outwards

Nobody reaches Dubai Festival City by Metro directly. An abra from RTA's floating marine station, open since 4 May 2019, crosses to Jadaf Marine Station and then Creek Metro Station on the Green Line, while the Red Line's Emirates Station is a cab ride of 7 to 8 minutes. Cars come in by Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road. A restaurant therefore draws its map in rings. The community is ring one, Al Garhoud web design is ring 2, the Al Jaddaf pages sit across the Jadaf link, and our Ras Al Khor web design page takes the wider circle. The mall can host 12,000 people for events, and an event night is when a restaurant most needs a page that already answers where to eat afterwards.

02

One Menu page cannot serve the diners of a Dubai Festival City restaurant

Most restaurant sites give each service a single page, and kitchens in Dubai Festival City follow suit: one called Menu, a PDF attached, and little more. Nobody types the word menu on its own. They type waterfront restaurant Dubai Festival City, family dinner near Marsa Plaza, private dining Al Garhoud, and when the restaurant has no page for the place named, the click goes to a kitchen that does. We write the missing pages, one each for dine in, takeaway, delivery, private tables and the rest, set against every place diners come from. First comes keyword research, which you get to read: districts, services, monthly searches and who ranks today. 7 services across 11 districts is 77 possible pages, of which only those with proven demand are written.

03

What Marsa Plaza diners type, counted before any page exists

The counting comes before the writing. Take the restaurant: the sheet compares waterfront restaurant Dubai Festival City with dinner by the Creek, checks whether Al Jaddaf searches for private dining at all, and lists the phrases no rival kitchen has built a page around. A phrase that people type and rivals neglect earns a page. Searches nobody makes earn nothing, however much the owner loves the dish. What you approve is usually a shorter list than the one you walked in with, and its length sets the plan size. It also decides which pages the ranking work has to push, which Dubai Festival City SEO describes month by month.

04

Menu changes and seasonal offers at Festival Bay, edited without a new quote

Menus change faster than websites do. A dish for the cooler months, a school holiday set menu, a weekend table kept open until midnight because the mall closes then: each comes in by WhatsApp, is done within the plan and is tested on a phone before publication. Prices are the edit that comes most often, then photographs, and a renamed dish also updates its page title so the search listing stays truthful. There is no new quote and no queue behind a developer. Photographs, fonts and colours stay matched across the site, the map listing and the printed menu, and social posts for Dubai Festival City reuse the same shots.

05

A Dubai Festival City diner checks 4 things before sending a WhatsApp message

DET handles licensing in the community, and the sources list no free zone authority anywhere inside it. That matters less to the diner than 4 answers on the page: opening hours that sit alongside the mall's 10:00 pm weekday close and midnight weekend close, a menu with prices, where to park or which entrance to use, and how to book a table for a group. Those 4 go at the top of every page with the button beside them. A guest staying at one of the 4 hotels also wants to know whether to walk or take a taxi, so that goes on the page too. Our Dubai Festival City ads page covers the campaigns that send people there.

06

A Dubai Festival City site that is yours outright on day 1

Some owners want the files in their own hands from the start, and the one off route exists for them. A restaurant here that prefers to own its site from the first day can commission one outright: from AED 25,000 + VAT after a consultation, on Webflow or WordPress. The trade is coverage. Monthly plans bundle the SEO and the district pages, while a one off site gets them only if they are quoted into the build. Expect the brief to settle the page count, the languages, any booking or ordering widget and who writes the copy. A restaurant that needs a single page and a booking form can reasonably choose it. One chasing dozens of searches belongs on our Dubai web design page, which explains the plans.

Plans

Your Dubai Festival City site, sized by services and districts

All tiers share one set of templates, research and reports, and the choice is how many services and districts get pages.

Worked example

A restaurant at Festival Bay that also wants the hotel guests of the InterContinental and the tenants of Marsa Plaza needs a page aimed at each. 3 services across 17 districts is 51 pairings, and the counts decide which of the 51 earn a page.

Who each plan suits
  • Launch: One restaurant or cafe on the waterfront selling dine in, takeaway and bookings to the community and its closest neighbours.
  • Growth: A group with 2 or 3 outlets, or a caterer with 10 services, serving diners across 20 districts around the Creek.
  • Apex: A hospitality operator running 15 services from private dining to large group bookings, and aiming to hold 30 districts' worth of searches.

Frequently asked questions

Can a Dubai Festival City free zone company use the same website plan?

Yes. Pages are priced, licences are not, so a company licensed by a free zone receives the same build, research and report as a mainland one. Licensing inside Dubai Festival City sits with DET and the sources show no free zone authority operating there, so a free zone firm that sells to people here, perhaps a consultancy with its desk elsewhere, simply names the districts it serves and we write for those. Launch allows 10 districts, and the research chooses them.

What comes with the Launch plan for a business in Dubai Festival City?

Launch caps a site at 60 pages (6 services across 10 districts) and costs from AED 1,500 a month + VAT. In practice a Dubai Festival City restaurant receives the Webflow site and its hosting, research done ahead of drafting, a report on rankings every month and menu edits whenever they come. SEO is included. Money changes hands only when month 1 is billed on signature, since there is no build fee.

Can a Dubai Festival City business stop after the first 12 months?

12 months is the floor; after that the same monthly price continues, and a Dubai Festival City business may leave the moment the year ends. Should you leave, the AED 5,000 + VAT handover is paid once and moves the design, copy and every district page into a Webflow workspace registered to you. Your business paid for those pages to be written, which is reason enough for them to travel with you.

Where does the keyword research for a Dubai Festival City website start?

2 lists come first: what you sell, and each place a customer could be searching from, be it a flat, an office or a hotel room. Pages for a Festival City restaurant open with the community's own names, Festival Bay and the Al Badia villas, and extend to neighbouring districts, with monthly search counts and today's page 1 recorded beside each pairing. You read all of it before any drafting starts, and the 6 services a Launch plan allows are chosen from those showing demand.

Can I add more districts or services later?

Yes. An extra service or an extra district is a small monthly addition, and the plan finder will point out when the next tier up costs less than the extras would. A Dubai Festival City restaurant on Launch could widen to Al Jaddaf or Ras Al Khor after the first reports show which streets the enquiries come from. New pages are researched exactly like the first batch, so only the ones that can win get written.

Why Webflow for a Dubai Festival City business website?

A restaurant site is mostly photographs, and Webflow serves them resized for the phone in the diner's hand. Every page comes from the same few templates, so correcting a price in one place corrects it on all of them, and hosting with SSL is bundled in. Each page also carries schema naming one service in one district, which is how Google learns that a Dubai Festival City page is about private dining and not the whole mall.

The bottom line

A restaurant with a homepage and a PDF disappears from any search containing a place name, and diners here attach one to everything: the hotel they are staying in, the villa they rent, the mall they just left. Pairing each service with each place as its own page, researched first and kept climbing under a plan that includes the SEO, is the way out, and the Festival City overview covers the 3 other services that run beside it.
