AV Cleans is a high end sneaker cleaning business that came to us as a true startup with a sharp idea. People love their sneakers but rarely have a trusted specialist nearby they can hand them to. AV Cleans solved that with a send in model, and needed a site that made the whole process feel as careful as the cleans themselves.

We designed and built a Webflow ecommerce site with a fully integrated Royal Mail send in system. Customers buy a clean, receive a shipping label and post their sneakers from home. Off the back of that, the business has expanded into designer bag dry cleaning, cloth dry cleaning and bag repairs, all served through the same site, which is built to be found for searches right across the UK.

AV Cleans came to us as a startup with a clear vision and no digital presence behind it. The send in model only works if customers trust the brand enough to post their favourite sneakers across the country, so the website had to feel genuinely premium from the first visit. It also had to handle ecommerce, shipping logistics and a fully managed customer journey without any rough edges.

On top of that, the team wanted sneaker and bag care customers from across the UK rather than one city, so the SEO and the brand had to work at a national level from launch, in a category where nobody had yet made themselves the obvious choice.

We designed and built AV Cleans on Webflow with full ecommerce built in, so customers can browse the services, choose a clean and pay in one flow. We then integrated a Royal Mail send in system with prepaid shipping labels and a clean send in journey that takes the friction out of the model. Sneakers arrive, get cleaned properly and head straight back.
