From The Meadows Souk to The Springs Souk, digital marketing for The Meadows that starts with search

One team for the trades that serve villa gardens and driveways in The Meadows, from groomers to solar installers, working outward from The Meadows Souk on a single monthly plan.

The Meadows
The Meadows

The Meadows launched in 2003 beside The Springs and The Lakes, designed around lakes or green parks, and it is the one of the 3 with the larger villas. Sheikh Zayed Road is the road it leaves from, Emirates Golf Club and Montgomerie Golf Club lie either side, and streets are known by number, from Meadows 4 and Meadows 5 outward. Between those 2 stood The Meadows Village, the oldest shopping centre in Emirates Living and a smaller version of the main Town Centre. Gulf News reported in 2018 that it was to be demolished, that Spinneys had moved to another Emirates Living venue and that the pharmacy had gone to Springs Village Town Centre. A community whose shops move is a community whose searches go stale. No Metro station serves the area, and bus F31 is frequent. The households are families in villas with gardens, and one team looks after the site, the rankings, the posts and the ads that reach them.

What businesses here need

The Meadows

Villas come first. A house with a garden, an air conditioning plant and perhaps a pool generates a long list of jobs, and each is a search with a trade and a street number in it. For a pest control firm, a landscaper, a pool engineer or a groomer, the customer types the problem plus the Meadows number, and the business with a page for exactly that gets the call.

Moved shops come second. When The Meadows Village closed, a map listing for a shop that had moved on could still send a customer to the wrong place. We do not name tenants of the old or the new centre, because no source we hold confirms who trades there now. What we do is make every business we work for state its address, its hours and its service area accurately on Google and on its own pages.

Families come third. 4 schools are named near the community by The National, Dubai British School among them, and nurseries are spread across Emirates Living, 6 by Emaar's count. They are near, not inside, so a nursery or tutor page says so plainly and writes for the school run.

Health is fourth, and it sits outside. Gulf News and The National place clinics at the souk in The Springs and in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, so a dermatology clinic serving Meadows families writes for them from elsewhere. Nothing in our files counts searches for The Meadows yet, so research opens the work. From there the figures may point to The Springs, The Lakes or Emirates Hills next. Staff who commute to JLT or Dubai Marina are a second ring, added only if their searches appear.

Frequently asked questions

Does the licence a business in The Meadows holds change its marketing?

Slightly, and mostly in what a page states. DET, the mainland authority, is the body on record for The Meadows, and no free zone authority is named inside it. A pest control firm, groomer or clinic serving the villas therefore carries a mainland licence, and customers who let a stranger into the garden want to see that stated high on the page. The keywords do not change, the trust line at the top does.

Why use one team for every channel in The Meadows?

Because the channels in The Meadows share one list of searches. When the groomer's page for a Meadows street number is live, the ad for that street should open on it, the post about it should link to it, and the ranking work should aim at it. 4 suppliers would each build their own list and pay twice for the same click. In a community this size, with few rivals writing street level pages, the saving is real.

How do we start working together from The Meadows?

With a WhatsApp message saying what you do and which streets you serve. Back comes a set of search counts, a short list of neighbouring communities to test and a draft page list. A first call follows, which settles the order of the 4 services; since the site plan includes the SEO, pages and rankings start in parallel for a business in The Meadows. Nothing publishes until you have read it.

Why does The Meadows get its own pages?

Because it does not behave like its neighbours. The Meadows has the larger villas, its own numbered streets and a shopping history of its own, and a search typed from Meadows 5 is not the same as one typed from The Springs or The Lakes. Separate pages let each community be described truthfully, and they stop 3 near identical pages from competing with each other on Google.

The bottom line

Launched in 2003 around lakes and parks, then left without its oldest shopping centre, The Meadows needs businesses that can be found by street number and trade. We write a page for each service on each street you can serve, correct the listings, post from the villas and aim ads at those same pages, using only what Emaar and the press have reported. The full list of districts we cover is on the areas page.

Tell us on WhatsApp which trade you run and which Meadows streets you reach, and the first search counts follow.
